Beautiful hotel on the beach w/plenty of activities for all ages. Lots to do for families w/the kid pool, pizza parlor and kids activities. Nice pool bars and restaurants

As I said, the location near the water was great, however, due to the extensive road construction (and hotel renovation) it was difficult to find and get to. However, the rooms were clean, the food was very good (although pricey for the offerings) and the amenities were nice.

The choice of restaurants, the amenities offered, close to the beach, variety of activities.

The staff (particularly the manager) was less than friendly and chose to give us double beds, even though he indicated there were king beds available.

The 727-room Marriott Marco Island Resort Golf Club and Spa provides luxury accommodation designed for the upmarket leisure traveler and the conventioneer. The 11-story, non-smoking resort is located on three miles of pristine beachfront on Floridas Gold Coast. The property has 27 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, The Islands Ballroom, can accommodate 1,225 guests. This full- service hotel has undergone a $200 million makeover. The propertys full service spa boasts Balinese influenced treatments, while the Rookery at Marco's private championship golf course highlights beautiful native surroundings. Area landmarks and attractions include the Everglades National Park, downtown Naples, the Teco Arena, the Corkscrew Sanctuary Wildlife Nature Trail, Sanibel Island, Marco Marina for boat tours and charter fishing and and shopping at 5th Avenue and Tin City.

All the guestrooms, and 63 suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, in-room safe, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, bathrobes and telephone with voicemail. The bathtubs have spray jets.

This mighty Marco Marriott gets a myriad of marvelous missives from those fortunate enough to have stayed here. Everything about this hotel is great from the beachfront location to the super spa and gorgeous golf course. The only downsides reported are the high costs and the noisy power flush toilets, which can awaken the heaviest of sleepers. Despite this, most clients cannot wait to return for more pampering by the professional, polite personnel.
