La Quinta was an excellent value and highly exceeded our expectations. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt as if they valued me as a guest. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely stay there again!

This pet-friendly La Quinta Inn and Suites Lakeland is located directly off Interstate 4 and comprises 119 rooms equally suitable for families on vacation or the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story hotel are a Bright Side breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. The property is located across from the Lakeland Square Mall. Other area landmarks and attractions include 14 golf courses, the Lakeland Convention Center which is the winter home od the Detroit Tigers, Florida Southern College, the home office of the Publix supermarket chain, the Lakeland Cancer Center and the historic downtown antique district which has the world's largest single site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture.

Regular La Quinta users say this hotel is a cut above the rest. The architecture is different and the rooms here are larger as are the lobby and breakfast eating area. Many guests were pleased with the friendly and efficient service they received from the front desk and they said they would certainly stay here again. The entire property is spotlessly clean and the rates are competitive with neighboring hotels.
