Didn't spend much time in the hotel except to sleep.Beds were uncomfortable & the pillows were way too soft. The Disney transportation was a real asset. No worries of driving & parking. The Disney Magical Service saved time in airport, but don't expect to get your bags in timely fashion. If you don't get them by midnight, you don't get them till the next day.Definatley a family friendly hotel, lots of kids around. The food at the hotel was ok, the restaurants in the parks were better. All food anywhere in Disney is expensive. Fulton's Crab House is EXPENSIVE but well worth the money.

We stayed at All Star from 3/7-3/14. We did not know there was a Cheerleading competition. We had wake up calls outside our room from the cheerleaders practice which started sometimes at 6:30am. The hotel is suppose to have quiet time until 9am. Several complaints to the front desk did nothing...I guess because the security was out there watching the practice. Room was ok, very small for 2 adults and 2 children...but we were only there to sleep. The food court was awful. Long Lines and waits up to 45 minutes for breakfast and dinner. I wouldn't stay heare again
Overpriced - posted on 04/16/2007
The rooms were VERY small, the food was processed and way over priced, even for Disney, the buses ran slow and customer service was crappy. The only positive thing was the heated pool that I got use out of. The room was dirty, and missing supplies, hair dryer, extra towls, cases on one pillow and clean crew is very rude and unhelpful!!!!! Will not stay here ever again.
Great Place to Stay - posted on 04/06/2007
I would highly recommend All Star Sports hotel to anyone. The rooms were clean the staff was very friendly and quick to help. We never waited longer than 5 minutes for a bus to get to the parks.

We stayed at the All-Star resort with my daughter's cheer team. My daughter and the other girls had a great time, but I did not like the tiny rooms.

for the price it was OK lots of problems with the key system when we where there. The food is expensive and not very good but it is a great place to stay if you do parks all day like we did. Good place to spleep and change other than that nothing special The cleaning service could be better they did not wipe the little table off inb the room and I had to clean the shower curtian
Teenager son was very happy, I was not... - posted on 02/09/2007
The rooms were nice but not quite as clean as I thought that they would be. Smaller too. I arrived very late in the evening and when I asked if I could get assitance with my luggage I was told NO!, also the bus pulled away with my son after I told the driver that he was getting off. I felt that I was ignored. My son loved the arcade and the pools.
You get what you pay for - posted on 12/18/2006
The service here is lousy. We requested adjoining rooms months prior to our arrival but this request was not met. There were no cups in the room and a request for a hair dryer took 3 phone calls and an hour wait. The rooms are noisy. The food court meals are lousy. Don't expect much more than a bed here. The bus service to the parks is slow.
Needs Improvement: service and food
First time at All-Star - posted on 12/13/2006
First time at an All Star resort. We usually stay at the next level but found this resort to be just fine. Our son (7) loved the pool and all the large sport items on the sides of the buildings. Game room is large, you can load a swipe card for the kids. Food court had lots of variety, prices were what you would expect for Disney-quality not too bad. We were able to check in early, staff friendly. Only bummer was no hot tub for the sore legs from walking the parks! We would stay here again-especially during the off peak times when the price is very affordable.

When we booked our reservation, we requested pool side. We argued until we finally were moved to pool side. My son's birthday was the day we checked in. I called 2 days before arrival for the balloons and card and they never showed up. I called another 4 times and they put a card on his bed, not balloons. When they cleaned our room, they only made one bed. The kids enjoyed the pool and arcade.
Great value for a short stay - posted on 08/30/2006
My husband, myself and another couple stayed here for two nights: Friday and Saturday with 2 young children. With two adjoining rooms, there was plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable for the two nights (any longer than 3 nights I would consider the next level hotel). The rooms were very clean and relatively spacious, basically not small/not large. It takes about 30 minutes to check in no matter what time you arrive. Food court is convenient but a bit pricey, as can be expected at Disney. Decor is elaborate and fun for the kids.

not as happy with this hotel They offer the same great shuttle service and food court but the staff was not as nice and didnt do those extra touches. Movies arranged there toys as displays in the window and for my sons b-day had balloons and a signed card from Mickey left on his bed. At this hotel they did none of these things even after several request to at least get balloons for his b-day left in the room. It was very noisy and we paid for a premium room overlooking the pool got a room in the back of the building by the parking lot. suggest: movie resort

Every year our family of 4(2 teenagers age 14 and 15) visit Disney world. We LOVED the All-Star Sport. If you are those people who are uptight and picky, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is for those folks like us who are on vacation to chill at the theme parks and come back to a clean hotel within the Disney area. Did I mention the refill mugs? a MUST. The only thing that the All Star hotels might considered updating is the bed size from full to queen.
A field of dreams! - posted on 06/13/2006
Our family has gone to the Walt Disney World Resort every December for the last 6 years. We have stayed at the All Star Sports four times. This is truly a kid's dream come true! Our 13 year old son loves to play catch football in the supersize football field and basketball on the 30 foot high basketball hoops. The pools are awesome- one resembles a baseball diamond with Goofey as the pitcher on the mound. Each building unit has a theme- baseball, basketball, football, cheer, surf, etc. The arcade is fun and the food court is perfect for families on the go. You can't beat the price.

This is the best Disney resort - my family goes to Disney on an average of every other year and this is the best of the "value" resorts - it is great!!! You are in the parks all the time anyway - the transportation is the quickest way to travel

Great place for the money.Spent all day at parks so the hotel was nice and served it's purpose.Would definitely go back.Too many kids, though...but it is a family resort.Food is great, too.Everyone was nice, too.Transportation to/from parks is great and using our room key to pay for everything (so we don't have to bring our credit cards in the parks) was a PLUS!! and they will deliver your souveniers to your hotel from the park so you don't have to carry them all day. Wonderful!

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME EVER GOING TO DISNEY FOR ME AND MY SIX YEAR OLD SON AND WE BOTH HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES. AT THE HOTEL, THE THEME PARKS EVERY THING. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK. AS FAR AS THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT HOTEL THEY STAYED AT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FINE, CHECK IN WAS TIMELY AND THE R LITTLE OOM WAS ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN THROUGHOUT OUR 5 DAY STAY. AND MY SON LOVED THE POOLS AND THE ARCADE AND OF COURSE THE THEME PARKS AND I AM SURE HE CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK.
Good for Disney - posted on 04/01/2006
I have been to Disney several times and have stayed in many of the resorts at all levels. I like to stay at a different hotel each time, but would come back to this one. It's quieter of all the all stars. Think about all the perks of the hotels and how much your going to use them before you book. You can always go the Grand Floridan for their spa or charater breakfast along with any other resorts perks (I'm not sure about pool access though). If you want 5 star, this is not for you. If you want Disney at a good value, stay here.

An average experience at Disney - posted on 02/20/2006
Disney's All-Star Sports resort is great for families on a budget. It is close to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and provides bus transporation to all theme parks. However, the line for the bus can get really crowded after the park closes (I suggest leaving early or staying in the park an additional 20 minutes until everyone has gone). Also, the room are not very clean and housekeeping is not very friendly.
Good value - posted on 01/12/2006
Basic accomodations, rooms are clean. No hairdryer or coffee in rooms. Good value as we spent all our time at the parks and not in the hotel. Disney transportation makes it easy to get anywhere on Disney property which is a plus. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves even with the crowds.

beds in this hotel are comfortable. Beats the beds in the Dolphin! Food court was reasonable priced and good serving size. Pools are nice but could use slides. Front desk needs to work on people skills. I had a tooth abcess and needed a dentist on a Sun night. I called the front desk several times and each time was given numbers of offices that were unavailabe. The last time I called the desk the person told me to look up places in the phone book. I told him I didn't have a phone book and he said he'd send one, but never did.

While this resort is for the budget consumer, there are a few things that should be in a room (like hair dryers, coffe makers). The Disney All Star Sport Resort is nothing more than a basic $30 - $45 room anywhere else in the disney area... I expected a little more from DISNEY (and I got the Fl resident rate)...No Frills...

This hotel is a wonderful bargain considering the location. It is very well kept, the staff are very accomodating, and the facilities and acttivities offered are perfect for families. I just think they need to expand the dining choices a bit.

Our stay at Disney's All Star Sports Resort was a great experience. The rooms were very clean and room service was excellent. It's a great place to stay if you have children. The bus service to the theme parks was always at our disposal. No more than a 10 minute wait. We would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Disney, however I would not recommend going to Disney as your first vacation, the parks were quite draining. Needed a vacation from this vacation. Other than that my kids loved the resort, the set up was cool. I had no problems with check-in, however I saw people in the lobby who did, I recommend coming on a weeday in the late afternoon, like 4:00pm, when the rush dies down.

Our room was FILTHY. There was gum on the floor, body hair in the bathroom and mildew on the shower fixtures. When we checked in they tried to send us to a different resort becuase they were overbooked but our child was with a group staying at your hotel and our reservation was for a queen bed room but we got 2 fulls. My husband and I had to sleep apart for the duration of the trip. The only 2 good things about the trip was the food court and that we left. No compensation was offered to me. I was just told sorry.

you cant bet the value here. but the rooms were on the smaller size, and it was rather noisy even during the night. the pool was very nice and so was the staff. the food court was quick and not too horribly priced. the walking distance was not that bad compared to other disney resorts. i had no problem with the buses, the longest i waited was 10min.

I booked the room to attend a nearby conference and left early morning and returned around 9PM each night, so did not have a chance to really experience the available services and activities. But I was impressed with the friendly way that all staff performed thier tasks. Every one I encountered was so pleasant and helpful...like they enjoyed being at work!! Imagine. Thanks for everything
