A small hotel away from the hustle of downtown with a great walk-in, warm pool; nicely appointed rooms with Caribbean style. Service was excellent. My only disappointment - you'd never know you were in Key West. Couldn't even see the ocean, let alone walk to the beaches. Only a handful of rooms had balconies or any view other than the roofs of property next to it.

An overall good price performer. Not the best location for hanging out on Duval Street, but nothing is too far away on this small island.Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the live music in the bar. Breakfast buffet was nice too.

The pet-friendly Doubletree Grand Key Resort comprises 216 quality rooms designed for the upscale vacationer or business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this full-service resort are transportation to and from the beach, Duval Street and the airport, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, a copy of USA Today and local publications, in-room tea and coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in. There is 7,000 square feet of flexible indoor banquet and meeting space that can accommodate 300 guests. The property has a 2,500-gallon, 10-foot tall saltwater aquarium which is home to local tropical fish and reef life. Area landmarks and attractions include dining and shopping on Duval Street, the Mel Fisher Museum, Hemingway House, Mallory Square, the Key West Aquarium, South Beach, the Key West Golf Club, the Curry Mansion and the Naval Air Station Key West.

The rooms come with a choice of one king size bed or two queen size beds. Families loved this resort and said the rooms here had a wonderful tropical décor and were spacious and squeaky clean. There were plenty of activities here to enjoy without venturing out to explore the Florida Keys and Key West. The professional team of employees at this Doubletree resort worked hard to insure that all guests had an enjoyable time and those clients feeling stressed out said the massages available at poolside were wonderful. Most visitors cannot wait to return to this luxury resort and highly recommended the property to fellow travelers.
