About the Hyatt Key West

This is a modern all-new resort in a famed old part of Florida. The Hyatt Key West Resort and Marina has blended the two well. There are 118 rooms including eight special king-size suites considered to be the most elegant in Key West. There are stunning ocean views throughout the property which is in easy walking distance of the historic old town. The resort makes a wonderful setting for weddings on the beach, dock or on the Hyatt’s sailboat, followed by a reception at the water’s edge. The resort also has three meeting and banquet areas for conferences.

Since the $10 million renovation there have been no complaints about the décor or the quality of the accommodation. This is now a very modern hotel but still retaining the charm of old Florida. A word of warning from previous guests: If you book a room with an ocean view you may be disappointed if a cruise ship is berthed in front of the property. The hotel is aware of cruise ship dates so it is best to check before you stay if you want an uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Mexico. Some guests enjoyed the lights of the cruise ships while others complained the sunset views were ruined by the ship’s lights. Read our customer reviews?

Hyatt Key West Accommodations

All the accommodation is newly renovated and features TV with remote control, cable movie channels and in-room pay movies, IDD telephones with voicemail, electronic door locks, in-room safe, refrigerator and iron with ironing board. The fully equipped bathrooms come with a make-up mirror and hairdryer.

Amenities offered

The resort’s Blue Mojito Pool Bar and Grill offers light fare while the Nicola Seafood is a full service restaurant. There is a fitness center and spa treatment rooms. The heated outdoor pool has a whirlpool and spacious sun deck with three poolside cabanas. There is direct access to the beach where waverunners, parasailing, diving, snorkeling, fishing and sailing is available. Cycle and scooter rentals, tennis courts and golf are nearby. There are ice machines throughout the property, laundry and dry cleaning service, gift shop and room service is available throughout the day.

From Key West International Airport (3 miles): Turn right onto North Roosevelt Blvd. (US1), which curves around the island. The street name changes to Truman Avenue. Proceed to intersection of Simonton Street and Truman Avenue. Turn right, and continue to the intersection of Simonton and Front Street. The hotel is located on the right.
