Don't waste your money - posted on 03/18/2006

Hotel wasn't close to duval street; rooms were dirty; didn't empty trash; deck had nails sticking up; don't waste your money

Served it's purpose - posted on 01/19/2006

We stayed at the Fairfield the night before my wedding. We were able to check in early, which was awesome, because it was raining. We went to our "Jr Suite" on the 2nd floor to lie down after a long trip down the keys... It started to rain harder and we had a small waterfall in our room. But it was just one night, so we survived.

I was a little nervous to see the hotel room, because the cost was so reasonable. Once we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Nice hotel - posted on 08/14/2005

I found my stay at this hotel to be nice. The rooms were clean and well equipped(iron, hair dryer, etc.). The staff was friendly and very helpful with information about the island and its activities. I would stay there again.

Decent for the Price - posted on 12/16/2004

Clearly an economy hotel, but the Marriott name ensures a level of sanity. Rooms were musty and furnishings unattractive, but breakfast was decent and served at the poolside bar. Staff was friendly and found room to store our luggage, despite the cramped lobby. Over a mile to Duval St, but we walked it.
