Holiday Inn Express Suites South in Jacksonville Florida

The hotel is in a great location. It's not too far from the beach and is close to downtown. However, the carpet seemed to have a soiled smell on the entire floor my room was on. I had to call the service desk to get someone to come spray the floor because of its aweful smell. The people at the service desk were wonderful. Renovations to the room could have been better.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It has a wonderful location and a great staff. The breakfast was very good and the lady that prepared it was very excellent. The only problem I had was that I was placed in a handicapped room and the shower was horrible.

I had a very nice trip to Jax, all kinds of food were within a mile and everything was set up just like I planned

I have stayed at this location for several years now frequently. I have never had a problem in there. Staff is always friendly and now with the renovations rooms are looking better as well.
