The 112 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Baymeadows is located near Interstate 95 making it an easy drive to the tourist attractions, the beaches, universities, military bases and corporate offices. All the suites have separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, a hot breakfast buffet and a weekday evening socials featuring a complimentary light dinner, beer, wine and sodas. A manager's barbecue is held every Wednesday night. The two-story, pet-friendly property has one meeting room for business and social events than can accommodate up to 40 guests. The inn can arrange for golf club rentals and is within easy driving distance of six golf courses.

The location close to the Interstate was the reason many former clients stayed at this inn – and they were pleased they did. The staff was friendly and efficient, surprisingly there was little noise from the road, and the accommodation was modern and spacious. All the suites come with a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and conventional oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, toaster, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work area with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board and IDD telephone with voicemail.

The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and exercise room. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel and information on area events and attractions. From Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) 28 miles: Take 1-95 South 29 miles to Baymeadows Road, Exit 341. Turn right at bottom of the exit ramp. Turn left at next light (Freedom Commerce Pkwy), Then take immediate left on Dix Ellis Trail, Hotel is 1/4 mile on the left.
