Overall a nice stay, Room was clean, nicely decorated, but just a little small. King Bed and 5 pillows very comfortable. The spa and indoor pool had some problems and the outdoor pool was closed, which was some inconvenience as I had a 6 yr old to entertain.

Great service and facilities, Clean and modern.

Spa was broken, cold, indoor pool cold.

This Marriott did not live up to the Marriott reputation as the furnishings were old, marred and dated looking. However, the indoor and outdoor pools were clean and the area well taken care of. There is a dry sauna and a hot tub, also. The bed, a king, was the most comfortable I have ever encountered in a hotel. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The common areas were well maintained and the decor comfortable. A business center was small, but had most of the things you would need. Internet connections were good and easy to access. The location was difficult to find initially, but after a couple of trips in and out it became easier. A directory of area restaurants and local maps were available upon request from the front desk, but I felt they should have been offered at check or made available in the room. The room guest book was out of date and the TV channels in it not even close to those available. I had to hunt for phone books which were not in the furniture at each phone. All in all a good value for the money, but a little effort and care could earn this hotel 4 star.

The hotel staffs were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Furniture was old and marred.

This Marriott gets good reviews for its reasonable rates, a team of employees that is both efficient and friendly and rooms that are clean and comfortable. The location close to I-95 is ideal for those traveling to and from south or central Florida but not so good for those wanting to be close to downtown. It is a 20-minute drive to the city center. Many business clients say they enjoy this hotel because it is a full-service hotel and they can find everything they need here without having to venture out after a hard days work in Duval County.
