The beachfront location, our ocean view room, the pool and the outside bar were awesome. Better than any other hotel I've stayed at in Jacksonville. The front desk staff was so friendly and quick to help. Our room was spacious and we were happy that it had a couch, microwave, coffeemaker and mini-fridge, all things we weren't expecting. We would definitely stay there again.

The pool was the best! Our ocean view room was so beautiful.

Too many people at the pool area were not guests. We couldn't get chairs.

The 177-room Comfort Inn Oceanfront is located directly on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and provides affordable accommodation for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this Jacksonville Beach hotel are a continental breakfast with a waffle station, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a copy of USA Today and parking. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The property is 28 miles from the Jacksonville International Airport. Visitors to Jacksonville Beach on a budget said this Comfort Inn proved ideal. Other guests were not so happy and there were complaints that the property should have been cleaner and more up-to-date. However we still give the property a YES rating because the rates here are low and the happy band of employees provided efficient and friendly service. The oceanfront location was good and it was within walking distance of restaurants. Some visitors said they would stay here again on future visits to north Florida while others said they would spend more money next time for a property that was more upmarket.
