It was clean and roomy. Did not really have to drive any where, all you needed was there.

Our room was not ready at check-in so they up graded to a very nice room.

You had to walk to the beach (2 blocks).

It was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Good service and clean rooms. The location is excellent for exploring the nearby beaches. You can walk to Indian Rocks Beach and leave your vehicle in the parking garage eliminating the unnerving search for public parking at beach access points. It is definitely better for families as there is a pool for children with a pirate ship, etc. If you are looking for a romantic getaway place you may look elsewhere.

It is a family friendly vacation spot (great kids pool) in a good central location for the beaches.

It can be a bit loud the way it is set up with most of the rooms open to a common courtyard.

The front desk staff was welcoming and very efficient. When we got to our room it was clean and very well appointed. The food in the restaurants was very good, the food in the steak house is excellent. while at the pool bar we ordered food and while it was served in to go boxes the quality was still excellent. Service in all locations was superb. "GREAT PLACE" Holiday Inn Harbor side and Jimmy Guana's Bar and restaurant. Don't forget "The Brew masters Steak House" great steak and seafood.

Location, the pool and amenities, the rooms are great.

That I had to leave but I will be back.

The 164-room Holiday Inn Hotel Indian Rocks is located on the Intracoastal Waterway within steps of the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Items included with the room rate at this four story full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. The on-site Key West Conference Center has seven indoor meeting rooms and outdoor function space that can accommodate 1,000 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, Clearwater Beach, Busch Gardens, the Adventure Island theme park, the Salvador Dali Museum, the Sunken Gardens, the Florida Botanical Gardens and the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary which is three miles from the property..

Several families thought this Holiday Inn was absolutely brilliant for a vacation. The accommodation was very clean and the cooking facilities enabled some in-room meals which cut down on restaurant bills. The location was ideal, a short walk to the beach, and the employees here were full of helpful advice about the neighborhood sights, shop and restaurants. Most guests said they planned to return to this hotel on future visits to Indian Rocks Beach and said they would recommend the property to family and friends.
