I was very disappointed that the promised morning shuttle to the airport was not available at the hour I needed it. I needed to leave at 5:45 and the shuttle did not leave until 6:15, so I had to pay for a taxi to the airport. I had selected this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the free shuttle.

The pet-friendly La Quinta Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale comprises 131 rooms equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. This six-story hotel is a 20-minute drive from Miamis Dolphin Stadium and a short drive from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The hotel provides a 24-hour complimentary shuttle to the airport and also a shuttle to the Port Everglades cruise ship terminal. Other items included with the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy or USA Today and parking.
