Wonderfully surprised at the quaility, cleanliness and comfort of this hotel one of the nicest by far that I have been in a long time over many 5 star rated upscale establishments. Wonderful stay and even better were the staff and the price. Will stay again! Couldn't be happier

Cleanliness! Bath quality and linens quality and cleanliness.

The radiator/ air conditioner vent was moldy and needed care.

This hotel was great to stay at for the price. The bed and linens seemed to be low quality though. It is right on the beach and with a room with a gulf view, you can listen to the waves crashing in. They provide chairs and umbrella for free for the beach and you pretty much have the beach to yourself (and the other hotel guest). There is a HUGE emphasis on kids and there are always kid activitiies going on. There is a restaurant on the premises but the rest of the restaurants are a little more than walking distance from the hotel. Overall a great stay and worth the money.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. It was very romantic and an overall very enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable and overlooked the ocean. We had an awesome time. It is also a short driving distance to area attractions. We already have plans to come back next year for our anniversary.

This hotel is right on the beach which was very handy and enjoyable.

This is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

The 195-room Holiday Inn Resort Fort Walton Beach has direct access to the beach and provides quality accommodation designed for the vacationer but equally suited to the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this seven-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. There are four meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 380 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, dolphin and dinner cruises, dolphin and sea lion shows at the Gulfarium, the Emerald Coast Conference Center, Eglin Air Force Base, the Fort Walton Beach Art Museum, the Emerald Coast Science Center and shopping at the Santa Rosa Mall.

It is the miles of sugar-white sandy beaches in front of this resort and the friendly and efficient staff inside the property that brings travelers back to this Holiday Inn year after year. They say the rates are reasonable considering the quality accommodation. Families say the childrens activities programs are great and enable parents some time alone.
