The staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful view of ocean and clean beach. However, it was a bit pricey considering we had to pay for drinks and there hotel offered nothing to eat at dinner/lunch. During day we would have to pack up all of our things and go eat lunch and then come back. It was inconvenient and a waste of sunlight- especially for the price we were paying. However, it was very clean. Our toilet did stop up the first day there, but the staff quickly came to fix it. While in the lobby the next day, we overheard other visitors requesting that they get their toilets unclogged.

Too pricey No place to get lunch while on beach. should have a sandwich shop so don't have to leave beach and waste sunlight.

Best western beachfront hotel is very nice. If you are looking for a place to go that is located right on the beach, meaning you can walk out the hotels back gate and step on the beautiful white sand. The staff is overall friendly, but if you want an available up-grade don't expect to get it without a heavy price.

The location of the hotel was perfect, it was right on the beach.

The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was very clean. Beach location was great. We upgraded to a gulf view room at higher cost, and were glad we did. Without the balcony view the rooms would be overpriced. The only drawback is the lack of places to eat close enough to walk. You have to load up the kids in the car to go eat. Not real convenient when you're on the beach. My suggestion is to bring sandwich stuff and eat lunch on the patio by the pool. Overall a great stay.

The beachfront balcony was great. Interior room would be a waste of money.

The 99-room Best Western Fort Walton Beachfront is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price designed for the vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this six-story hotel are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee and parking. Live music is provided every night at the on-site Swizzle Stick Lounge and Martini Bar. This hotel proved to be far better than many guests had expected and this Best Western rates as one of the best places to stay on Fort Walton Beach. Everything here is clean and comfortable and the top team of employees provides friendly and efficient service. Tip from those in the know: Be sure and get a room with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. The vistas are stunning and youll have your own private balcony.
