Spacious room with plenty of comfortable seating. Equipped with internet capabilities including a laptop desk. Staff has a focus on cleanliness and guest comfort, providing pillow top mattresses and down comforters for a luxurious sleeping experience. Amenities include in room refrigerator, gourmet coffee, and a sleep enhancing gift package. Pet and family friendly.

Large room, comfortable furnishings, extras that included a gift bag to enhance your sleeping experience (eye mask, CD, earplugs, and more).

Located in a shopping center. Some traffic noise.

Pros: very nice hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Beds are great. Staff is extra helpful. Lots to do nearby. (I recommend the Edison Ford Estates, the Koreshan Village, and of course Sanibel, and Captiva Islands), and the pool is fantastic. cons: although the room overall was pretty clean, I found a packet of male enhancement cream on the floor and a piece of the sliding window latch that someone had broken of by someone prying the window open from outside. Also, there was hair in the shower from the last guest.

The desk clerk that checked me in went out of her way to make sure I was happy.

Shower could have been cleaner.

The staff was nice and helped me when the drink machine took my money. Bed was comfortable, but the air conditioning was like having a train in the room, and the thermostat kept arcing each time it started. Scary. I do not recommend this as a luxury/semi-luxury hotel.

Convenient location.

Awful smell, small room, noisy air conditioning, dirty.

This was the Holiday Inn Select in Fort Myers before being upgraded to a Crowne Plaza. It got good reviews then and they continue today. Travelers who have stayed here say the location is great, within walking distance of the Bell Tower Shops, and the service provided by the happy band of employees is both friendly and efficient. There were some minor moans that some of the accommodation was in need of updating. Despite this most clients say they will stay here again and recommend the property to family and friends.
