here's the thing: if you just want to sleep there, that's fine. The beach is beautiful, but it costs $20 to rent a beach chair and umbrella. Shouldn't a hotel supply that?the room is so small...

I had read previous reviews that said the hotel had not been kept up but the location on the beach was the star attraction which was what I was looking for. Actually, I was not impressed by the beach but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was and it did appear that they had been working on improving the appearance of the rooms and the facilities were outstanding.

The bathroom was a little grungy.

It was the sparkling white sandy beach in front of the hotel that most guests will remember about their vacation at this Holiday Inn. Most clients said they had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. The team of cheerful employees got lots of complements for being friendly and efficient. Many enjoyed the food at the hotels restaurant and drinks at the Tiki Bar. First time visitors said they had decided where their next vacation would be right here at this hotel on Fort Meyers Beach.
