This two storey property has been renovated after the storms of 2006 and offers good value accommodation. The Rodeway Inn and Suites is located close to Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 595. It is less than two miles from the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center, the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades cruise port, home to more than 35 cruise ships. The motel offers complimentary transportation to and from the airport, making it a perfect place to stay before and after taking a cruise.

The motel has undergone a major renovation. During the construction work many guests complained about the noise and rubble. Now that work is complete the complaints have stopped. Major attraction here has been the economical price structure. Those who have used the motel prior to taking a cruise say that neighboring hotels would have cost them double the money. The 158 rooms come with two twin beds, are all air conditioned and have modern bathrooms with hairdryer. There is a desk with free Internet access, coffee maker, satellite television and an iron and ironing board.

The motel operates a small bar and restaurant and the 24-hour front desk offers limited services for the business traveler. The outdoor swimming pool is open year round. The lobby has free newspapers and also advice on neighboring attractions. The motel is close to the Boomers family fun center, Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Las Olas Riverfront which features a variety of restaurants, boutiques, bars and entertainment. From I-95 North and South: Take exit 25 (State Road 84/Marina Mile Road) west for 1/4 mile. U-turn at first light. The hotel will be on your right. From I-595 East: Take exit 9 (State Road 84/Marina Mile Road) east 2.5 miles. Hotel is on the right. From Fort Lauderdale Airport: Take US 1 North 1/2 miles, left on Southeast 24th Street heading west (24th Street becomes State Route 84), drive past I-95 overpass, U-turn at first light west of overpass. Hotel will be on your right.
