About the Holiday Inn Express Convention Centre

The 78-room Holiday Inn Express Convention Centre is near the Broward County Convention Center, Port Everglades and the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. The five-story, non-smoking hotel offers a courtesy shuttle to and from the airport. Other items included with the room rate are an Express Start breakfast served in the lobby from 6am until 10pm, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and parking. The hotel is one block from the north entrance of Port Everglades and adjacent to two large shopping centers. For $1.25 per person guests can take a bus to Fort Lauderdale Beach or to the Galleria Mall from the front of the hotel.

Many guests who stayed at this Holiday Inn stayed here either before or after a cruise from the nearby Port Everglades cruise ship terminal. They said it proved to be an excellent place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds, and the employees here were efficient and friendly. The location was within walking distance of dozens of restaurants. Some guests said it was pricey because of the upmarket location but despite this they said they would stay at this inn again and recommend the property to others. Read our customer reviews?

All the guestrooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, coffeemaker, 27-inch television with 70 cable movie and news channels and pay-per-view movies, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer. Connecting rooms are available.

The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a business center with a computer and copy and fax machines, daily housekeeping, same-day dry cleaning service and ice and vending machines.
