decent for the price - posted on 03/18/2007

Huge rooms. We booked this to have a place to stay before getting on our cruise ship the following day. The only caveat is that the hotel is a $45.00 cab ride from the Fort Lauderdale airport. If you don't need to be near the airport, then this is a decent place to stay. Front desk was very helpful.

My stay with Ramada was very nice. I think the restaurant staff could be more hospitable.

the worst hotel - posted on 08/28/2006

the service was awaful. the staff were notfriendly at all. the elavators hardly worked. the hallways were dirty and the whole place was stuffy and smelly. and the hotel is not in a desirable area at all, especially for tourists. the brief desription of the hotel they provide online is totally deceiving.

GIVE THE PLACE A CHANCE! I have vacationed at worse. This place has free internet, tiki bar, sports lounge with pool tables, a hair and nail salon, and kids eat free at the resturant. It does need some updating. However, you get what you payfor. We recieved more than we bargained for

Service was pretty good - posted on 08/02/2006

I liked the hotel. They have good amenities, clean rooms, onsite restaurant, and plenty of parking. They have a swimming pool and wireless internet access in the lobby. Hotel staff was great and attentive to your needs.

Fair - needs updating - posted on 02/26/2006

Rooms needed updating, outdated furniture, decor, etc Pool area was nice, cleaned every morning by employees with a pressure washer. Games room and kids area large, appeared to be recent addition. Restaurants not in walking distance. Fitness room had newer equipment. Smelled as if it took on some water from recent hurricanes. As I'm sure rest of area did by damage seen.

Stay Away, Far Away - posted on 07/08/2005

Should never have the Name Ramada attacted to it, I could not get a few more towels, 1/2 the elevators get not work. Only internet connect is at a PC in the lobby. The sign says wireless connection in Lobby, bar and lounge but when I told then it was not , They just says well it broke. And They charge $0.75 for local calls.

Shame on Ramada - posted on 02/24/2005

This hotel cannot be up to any chains' standardards, let alone Ramada. Filthy, moldy rooms, noisy A/C, just ghastly.

My wife and 3 boys were suppose to stay for a total of 3 nights. We were told this was a 4 star resort. It is a DUMP. We left after the 1st night.

AVERAGE HOTEL - posted on 02/05/2005

IT WAS AN OVERALL GOOD HOTEL. I DID HAVE TROUBLE GETTING MORE THAN TWO TOWELS IN MY ROOM. THE DINING ROOM FOOD NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. I WENT WITH THREE KIDS AND MY HUSBAND AND SOME FRIENDS EVERYONE SEEMED TO ENJOY THEMSELVES. THERE WAS ONLY TWO ELEVATORS IN THE HOTEL, THEY COULD SOMEHOW INSTALL A COUPLE MORE. THE KIDS ENJOYED THE GAME ROOM.

Not That Bad - posted on 11/22/2004

We just returned from this hotel. The hotel was not that bad. We stayed on the first level with a view of the pool and the tikki bar. The jazz they played was pleasant. We travel frequently, and this was an average hotel. I thought the idea of vacations was not to spend too much time in your room anyway.
