I was on my honeymoon and they treated us like first class citizens. We enjoyed our stay and now my wife is talking about going back. Keep in mind the daily parking charge
Awesome Pre Cruise Hotel - posted on 12/16/2006
Myself and a friend stayed at this hotel before taking the enchantment. By far one of the bet hotels I have stayed in. Everything was clean. The bartender out was awesome. They didnt mind us in the hot tub at 5 in the morning. Everything was great!!! Please note do not get anything from the mini bar in your room.. Candy bars were 4 dollars.
We LOVED the Hyatt Pier 66 - posted on 08/26/2006
We booked this pre cruise for enchantment and the hotel was so beautiful, we will DEFINATELY stay again. The manager was a real jewel. I called in advance for a room assignment and got 1366, this room was clean and wonderful. The balcony was so relaxing and the view spectacular. I awoke at 6:15 am and from my bed I could see the ship right before my eyes coming into port. We had full access to the pier top and loved the 360 degree view of the city and the port to watch the ship dock.. WONDERFUL HOTEL.. service was also excellent.

Not returning - posted on 03/01/2006
Stayed at this hotel several times, I can say that it has really gone down hill. There is virtually no restaraunt open in the hotel for lunch or dinner. You have to eat outside at some tiki hut, open to the rain. No bar in the hotel unless you count the coffee bar that has a few stools for drinks. You have to walk a good distance to the Grill 66 to have dinner. Some rooms were renovated and they are really very cold to me. Closed the pier top lounge and only for banquets of business meetings. General traveler or vacationer is not really welcome at this hotel.
Pier 66 gone downhill - posted on 01/07/2006
Not the old Pier 66, very poor quality rooms, poor restaurants, landscaping. Overpriced poor value, won't be back, poor service. Left after first day of week long vacation.
PIER 66 DISAPPOINTMENT - posted on 12/13/2005
The rooms need to be refurbished. I would like to have been advised that the pool area was under construction when I made my reservation. Definitely not what was expected by the rating hotel was given.

Good location - posted on 11/01/2005
The hotel was in a good location and it was what we would expect from a Hyatt. We were disappointed to find that the pool at the hotel was out of commission and was actually being rebuilt. The hotel arranged for us to use a sister hotel but we would have stayed somewhere else had we known.
Don't chose pier sixty six - posted on 08/21/2005
After booking this hotel for four days I find the room carpet damp. The swiimming pool CLOSED. and construction fences around pool area. I checked out after one day and won't be back. Shame on them!
Great stay - posted on 03/28/2005
Have stayed here several times. Restaurant on the icw at Pier 66 is fantastic, breakfast and lunch in the hotel are top notch. The water taxi, which picks you up on the site is a fantastic deal at $5 per day. It takes you all over town and is better than the cruise boats at many times the price.
Great hotel...and I - posted on 12/07/2004
We stayed here before & after our cruise and had a terrific time , especially ordering food & drinks by the pool. Over 44 acres, but just call for a golf cart. The grill on the waterway is great for snacks or lunch, and the restaurant, although pricey, had a view of the mega-yachts, and would rate 5 stars anywhere. The revolving cocktail lounge atop the tower provides a beautiful view, day or night, with comfortable chairs and sofas. This is a lovely hotel with professional and friendly service. We'll be back in Feb. for our next cruise. In two words: Class Act!
Disappointed - posted on 10/16/2004
I am a frequent guest at Hyatt hotels around the country. On my visit to the Pier 66, I was disappointed by the state of the guest rooms. The overall quality of the room was less than satisfactory. The walls were smudged with dirt...a problem that I see as easy to resolve. Two of four lamps in the room had no light bulb...also easily remedied. The valet, concierge and room service staff were all very friendly and accomodating. The Pier 66 was pleasant until we stepped into the guest room. I think some major attention should be paid to room maintenance.
