The La Quintal cypress creek is a nice place near nothing. It is well along being remodeled but, at its best, will never be a destination for a vacationing traveler a business person with local business maybe.

It was being remodeled there is hope for some improvement.

It was in the middle of nowhere nothing was nearby.

Overall I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was very close to all major highways and shopping. The staff was always friendly when I needed something. The breakfast was always fresh.

Staff is very friendly and accommodated all of my needs.

The rear parking lot was a little dark and the spaces were a little tight.

Items included with the room rate at this 145-room, four-story hotel are a Bright Side Breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 35 guests. The property is within walking distance of Lockhart Stadium, home of the Miami Fusion soccer team. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Atlantic Ocean beaches, numerous golf courses, the Palm Aire Country Club, Dania Jai-Alai, the Pompano Harness Race Track, the Museum of Fine Arts, the cruise ship terminal at Port Everglades and shopping at the Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall, the largest retail complex in the southeast.

Several guests who stayed at this La Quinta said it was one of the least expensive hotels in the area and it provided acceptable accommodation and had a helpful and friendly team of employees. The bathrooms were nicely equipped and there was a good range of items available at the continental breakfast buffet. There were complaints that the property was not up to normal La Quinta standards. Despite this some visitors said they would stay here again on future visits to Fort Lauderdale.
