A bit pricey per night, but still a bargain for a three-star in Ft. Lauderdale.

Very well maintained room, have been designed by someone with an eye for details, nothing is missed here to make the guest feel comfortable and at home. The bathroom with all accessories is excellent, the bed is so comfortable, a writing desk and wireless internet accesa are extremely useful even for us tourist just to check out the local attractions, maps and plan ahead for the next day. The coffee maker and the iron makes it also ideal for a budget conscious traveller.

The 215-room Marriott Fort Lauderdale North is a business-oriented hotel located in the six-acre Cypress Creek Florida Nature Preserve. The 17-story, non-smoking property also has the facilities to satisfy the upmarket leisure traveler. The hotel is close to Fort Lauderdales business district and has 18,500 square feet of meeting space for weddings and business functions. It is a short drive from this full-service hotel to six golf courses and the Atlantic Ocean beaches. Many visitors to this hotel said it was ideally located in a nature reserve away from the noise and clamor that exists in many parts of Fort Lauderdale. Several noted that this was not the finest Marriott but it was certainly worth the reasonable charges. The employees got lots of praise for being attentive and taking care of problems in a hurry. Most clients said they would use the hotel on future visits to South Florida and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
