Overall it was excellent. I will stay there again next time for business.

Easy access to and from interstate.

I wasn't happy that my suite looked over the parking lot instead of the river like what was stated.

Great spot for the view. It was set off the main drag and was very peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I could see it as a great type of stay for the business traveler as well.

The setting on the Manatee River was very soothing.

Can't think of a negative. Rooms could have been bigger.

Other that the above complaint, the hotel was excellent. I was quite annoyed when I found out that I could have called the hotel direct and got the same room for 96.00. I found this out by overhearing the clerk with other customers.

Very clean.

The smell of smoke was a little nasty and affected my sinuses keeping me up all night.

Several regular visitors to Ellenton rate this Sleep Inn as the best place to stay in town. The rates are low and the service is high. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location is good, overlooking the Manatee River and those in need of some retail therapy were close to the Prime Outlets stores. Most first-time visitors said they will be back and they had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
