The pet-friendly Residence Inn Sandestin Grand Boulevard is located just beyond the gates of the 2,400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and comprises 120 suites designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. Each of the suites has a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate at this four-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Guests have access to resort community facilities, which include beaches, spa services, shopping, nightlife, and marina access. Landmarks and attractions away from the resort include Silver Sands Factory Stores, The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Big Kahuna's Water Park, Eglin Air Force Base, Okaloosa Walton College, Rave Motion Pictures, Topsail State Gardens and the Track Entertainment Center.

Most guests who stayed at this Residence Inn were delighted with their stay. The hotel is designed for an extended stay but many couples said it was the ideal place for a getaway weekend. The employees worked hard to be efficient and friendly and the suites were well equipped. The downside is that this hotel is not on the beach nor does it provide a shuttle. If you have your own car then it is not a problem. Despite this hiccup most clients said they would stay here again and would recommend the property to others. Read our customer reviews?

All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, conventional and microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, stovetop and silverware and dishes. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This inn has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness center and a sport court. The hotel has a grocery shopping service and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property. There are several restaurants within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort including Another Broken Egg Café, a PF Chang’s China Bistro, Cantina Laredo and a Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities are a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning, full service business center, an ATM, barber and beauty shop, car rental desk, limousine service, vending machines and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.

From Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) 26 miles: Leaving the airport, turn right onto Highway 85 North. Continue heading north on Highway 85 to the first traffic light. Turn left onto John Sims Parkway (Highway 20). Continue through Niceville, approximately eight miles. Follow the signs for the Mid-Bay Bridge (Route 293). Turn right at the traffic light just past the Waffle House, onto White Point Road. Head south over the Mid-Bay Bridge (there is a $2.50 toll to cross the bridge) to the second traffic light. Turn left onto Highway 98, heading east. Travel approximately six miles to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
