This was pricey motel not hotel. I did like the closeness to the beach and shops on Hwy 98. Hardly any of the staff spoke good English. They were all foreigners with broken English. Not enough parking. Good breakfast.

It was within 200 yards of beach. It was right off of Hwy 98 and close proximity to shops/restaurants.

The rooms were not very big. There were no exercise/gym rooms. Nobody spoke good English.

Everything was so wonderful about our stay that we are planning to return next year and stay at the Hampton inn again.

The staff was wonderful, the location was great, access to the beach was easy to get to , a great place to stay with small children.

There was really nothing we did not like about our stay.

My husband and myself enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was at a stoplight so it was easy to get in and out. We also enjoyed how close it was to the beach-a very short walk. There is also a very good restaurant (The Back Porch) that we could walk to and it was right on the beach!

This hotel is very close (walking distance) to the ocean. The free breakfast is very good.

The room we had was a bit small but as it was only my husband and myself, that didn't pose a problem.

The Hampton Inn in Destin, Florida is a great area if you want to be close to many attractions. There are many seaside activities which include deep-sea fishing or relaxing on the white sand in the warm sun. You'll be sure to enjoy all the local activities such as deep-sea bottom fishing on Destin's fleet which is the largest charter fishing fleet in the state of Florida. You can also choose from over 100 charter and party boats. If you love watersports, then you can go snorkeling, parasailing, or jet skiing. You can go aboard a sunset cruise on a glass bottom boat or a high-speed racer on the beautiful waterways. Dolphins are often seen swimming on sightseeing trips. There are also many activities on dry land such as golf, arts and entertainment, and shopping at the Silver Sands Factory Outlet. Ask the friendly staff about all the wonderful attractions and places to eat and shop.

Yes, I would recommend the Hampton Inn in Destin, Florida to my family and friends. This is a great hotel and is in a good location. The beach is only a few minutes away. The breakfast is great with a variety of food choices. The beds are very comfortable. There are many things to do near this hotel.
