NEVER AGAIN - posted on 05/23/2006
First room smelled so bad we were given a new room missing toiletries. Gum stuck on carpet next to bed. Must pay $14/day to park. Rooms need updated and CLEANED. Did not restock coffee; waited 2 hours for arrival after 2 calls. Towels & glasses left outside overnight at pool area.
NO WAY A 3 STAR HOTEL!! - posted on 01/08/2006
Additional charge -$10.00/ DAY above the room rate to park your car in their lot! Bad TV reception, bad & expensive food, have to ask for shampoo, soap, even coffee for the in-room coffee maker, even had to go pick it up, they would not bring it to the room.

Did cleaner look in bathroom? - posted on 11/24/2005
The wife and Teens didn't tell me there was a childs bathing suit hanging in the Bathroom when we arrived. I found it the next morning. Trim under the window, along the floor, is missing the entire length of that wall, looks ratty. When we moved the chairs, it was obvious the vacuum had not been on that carpet for a "long" time, bits of paper, chip bag, dust, dirty. The TV had more channels with bad or no reception than good. These are not "hard to see problems". It appears no one is looking. This is my last stay at this location.
shelter from the storm - posted on 11/03/2005
We arrived after Hurricane Wilma-frightened and weary after being evacuated from our hotel in Deerfield Beach. The staff made sure we had every convenience despite no power. They hooked up TV's for entertainment and news, served us wonderful hot food and did their best to reassure us and get us on our way once the airports opened. They truly inspired us with their generousity of spirit, professionalism, work ethic-you name it. This was a once in a lifetime experience.
OK... But charges for parking not stated - posted on 08/08/2005
The room was OK for a 3-star. High-speed Intenet is not free but if you need it... Charges for parking, but not stated anywhere. OK if you fly in there is a free shuttle.
A bit outdated - posted on 06/22/2005
We booked this hotel due to proximity to airport. Room was in need of serious upgrade. Probably was great 5 years ago, but seemed old, small and musty. The doors were quite heavy and slammed loudly. Not horrible, but have been in better 3 star hotels

The hotel needs a complete remodel. wallpaper coming off the walls in hallway; elevator was dirty; checked out one day early. what a poor excuse for a 3 star hotel.
FT LAUDERDALE AIRPORT - GT PLACE TO STAY - posted on 01/20/2005
If your travel takes you near FLL airport, then here is a great hotel to stay at. Exceedingly comfortable rooms, great staff, close to airport yet so quiet. Recreation facilities little used as mostly business travellers. Great - you can have the pool area to yourself and there's never a wait for the tennis court
