Very convenient to airport and port. Hotel staff and Restaurant very cooperative and accommodating.

Pick this hotel if you plan to be in this area. Very nice place to stay when you are in ft. Lauderdale. Very convenient to the airport and all the major highways.

Luxury. However, was disappointed that the room keys kept getting deactivated (every day). Parking $10 per day was a headache because the guard gates worked inconsistently due to the hotel room key frequently becoming deactivated. It was a horrible experience for that reason alone.

Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel is located five miles from the downtown business district of Port Everglades, and the beaches of Fort Lauderdale. The tropical resort setting of the hotel is complemented with modern technology, which will appeal to both leisure and business travelers. While there are no on-site dining options, there are several restaurants located near the hotel, together with retail shops and attractions. About 7 miles from the hotel are the Broward County Convention Center, the Broward Museum of Arts & Sciences, and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall is 15 miles away.

Besides the efficient and friendly service from the staff, the hotels rooms are clean and welcoming with comfortable beds. The hotel is located sufficiently far from the hotel so that there is minimal noise at night. There is also a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport provided by the hotel.
