Blissful Sleep - posted on 02/13/2007
I was so surprised how quiet it was, even though its at the end of the Ft Lauderdale airport runway. The beds and pillows are so soft. What a good night sleep it was. Although the parking lot is a little out of the way.

Wyndham Hotel is great for a night to relax. It has an outstanding restaurant, bar, and pool. Location is decent and would definitely come back if i were in the area again.
Before cruise - posted on 04/28/2006
We though we would stay in a nice hotel the nite before our cruise so we chose the Wyhndam----never again---rooms were subpar for a hotel of this cost. We had to pay to use OUR laptop in OUR room. Bathrooms were small and needed upgrading. Bed looked nice and slept well..No transportation to cruise ships..
Horrible!!! - posted on 04/12/2006
First room was missing a bed! (?) Wallpaper was pealing off the walls. Stains on the carpet. Unidentifiable stains on walls in bathroom. Floor in bathroom had ring of dirt around toilet. Was afraid to walk around barefoot. Ancient air conditioner. Weird smell. Mold in shower. No, no, no!!!

Food @ cafe was good.Only half of first room had electricity. Replacement room had bad odor, was told nothing else available. Member bonuses not given. Independently owned & customer service @ Wyndham said hotel manager would contact us, which has never been done. Stayed at many Wyndhams and this is definately the worst.
Can't beat the service - posted on 11/25/2005
Was able to book a room here after having a reservation cancelled at another hotel. The rooms are nice, room service sent complimentary cheese and crackers.
Not as Advertised - posted on 11/16/2005
Sites advertised an executive floor with lounge. Upon arrival, we found a restricted access floor, but no special amenities and rooms identical to other floors - not worth a $x/nt premium. The desk manager was accomodating and provided a room on a regular floor at reduced rate. This hotel is looking "tired". Once 4-star facilities, now in need of overall. Big rooms, convenient (surprisingly quiet given FLL & I95 proximity), but not luxurious by any measure. Nice pool/hot tub area, but hot tub closes @7PM.

Great Pre-Cruise Stay - posted on 05/24/2005
We stayed here before our cruise. The shuttle pick up was prompt, check-in easy and the room nice. The room is standard hotel room size. A/C looked old, but worked good. Food is common hotel food, dining staff was very nice. Pool is great feature very nice and relaxing. Lots of pool chairs and you can even order food and drinks at the pool bar. Our king bed was very comfy. If going on a cruise hotel has shuttle, but can be a long wait. There are taxis out front and it is the same price ($16.00) as the shuttle with no wait and taxis can drop you off in front of the port.

We stayed here the night before our Celebrity cruise and the room was very clean and staff was friendly. Restaurant was pricey and not really good with slow service
Not worth the money - posted on 10/09/2004
It's all down hill after the lobby. They gave us a room that either was already occupied or hadn't been cleaned out thoroughly. The restaurant didn't have a full menu. The rooms need updated/touched up.
