The 224-room Marriott Coral Springs Golf Club and Convention Center is located halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton and provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price designed for the vacationer but with all the facilities for the business traveler. The seven-story, non-smoking hotel has 11 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 1,200 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Atlantic beaches, Coral Springs SportsPlex, the Coral Springs Aquatic Center, BankAtlantic Center, Everglades Airboat Tours, the Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts, Las Olas Riverfront, Pro Player Stadium and shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall. The hotel has an impressive seven-story atrium and is within the Country Club Community of Heron Bay.

Visitors to South Florida were impressed with this hotel. They liked the lush and lavishly landscaped grounds and attentive and helpful employees. All the guestrooms, and seven suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser 27-inch television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, minibar, wet bar, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, bathrobes and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The bathrooms have a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets. VCR movies and players are available for rent.

Dining options include the Grille at Heron Bay Golf Clubhouse and the Links at Heron Bay. Both are open for breakfast lunch and dinner and room service is available from 6am to 11pm. The hotel has an outdoor heated outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. Restaurants nearby include the Moon Thai Restaurant, Cheeseburger Cheeseburger, a Bonefish Grill and Dan Marino’s Fine Food and Spirits. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes. From Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) 24 miles: Exit airport to I-595 West, to Sawgrass Expressway (FL-869) North, to Coral Ridge Drive, (Exit 14). Turn left on Coral Ridge Drive and go approximately 1/4 mile to Heron Bay Boulevard. Turn left on Heron Bay Boulevard. The hotel is just ahead on the right.
