Hyatt Regency Coral Gables is an elegant Mediterranean-style hotel within walking distance of the shopping, dining of the infamous Miracle Mile. The 242-room property is within easy driving distance of Miami Beach and close to Miami’s International Airport. The hotel’s design and architectural detail was influenced by the grandeur of Spain's historic Alhambra Palace. Coral Gables retains the magnificence of south Florida’s golden era – and the hotel retains the charm of those days gone by but with modern amenities to suit the most discriminating leisure or business traveler.

The location and friendly service are two items that most previous guests enjoyed in this old-style hotel. Particularly popular was happy hour in the bar on the street level which attracts a lot of outside visitors as well as hotel guests. Hyatt Regency Coral Gables Accommodations

All the rooms and suites have a bright Mediterranean décor and are spacious. The least expensive are 450 square-feet and come with two double beds, marble bathroom and hairdryer. Amenities include Internet access, minibar, satellite TV, dual line phones with voicemail and an in-room safe. Room service is available from 6am until midnight.

The hotel’s Two Sisters restaurant offers a fusion of Florida and European cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Alcazaba lounge has a DJ on Wednesdays and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. The outdoor heated pool is open year-round and is surrounded by a sundeck. The health club located on the pool level has exercise cycles, stair climbers and locker rooms with saunas. There is a business center with secretarial help available and the 24-hour front desk can find you a babysitter and arrange currency exchange. There is a gift shop on-site, laundry and dry cleaning service and there are soda and ice machines throughout the property.

From Miami International Airport (4 miles): Exit LeJeune Road South to Coral Gables. Turn left on Alhambra Circle, also 20th street. Pass 3 traffic lights, the hotel is located on the right, pink Mediterranean style building. From Fort Lauderdale (45 minutes): Take I-95 South, which turns into US1/South Dixie Hwy. Turn right on Bird Rd, also 40th street. Go to next light, and make a right on Douglas Rd, also 37th Ave. Drive 1 1/2 miles and make a left on Alhambra Plaza, also 20th street and first traffic light passing Coral Way. The hotel, located on the left, is a pink Mediterranean style building.
