The 140 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Coconut Grove is designed for extended-stays by the business or leisure traveler with a choice of studios and one and two-bedroom suites. The non-smoking, pet friendly property is located between Coral Gables and downtown Miami. Items included with the room rate are a manager’s reception on Monday through Thursday evenings with wine, beer, soft drinks and hot hors d'oeuvres, a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Each suite has a sitting area, queen-size bed and fully equipped kitchen. There are five golf courses a short drive from the hotel. Area attractions include Little Havana, the Miami Seaquarium, Parrot Jungle, Miami Children's Museum and Viscaya Museum and Gardens.

First time visitors got a pleasant surprise when they arrived at this Residence Inn. The location is great, in the center of The Grove, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The evening socials proved to be fun and the complimentary breakfast bigger and better than expected. All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, stove and silverware and dishes. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, dual-line telephone with voicemail, cable television with news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This inn has an outdoor swimming pool and there are two fitness centers close to the property. The complimentary breakfast and the midweek evening snacks, are the only meals served here but the inn does offer a grocery shopping services. Restaurants nearby include a Cheesecake Factory, Café to Tango and Senor Frog’s Bar and Grill. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions. Other amenities are a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning, copy and fax services, translation services, vending machines, an ATM and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.
