The 109-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Clearwater Bayside caters to families on vacation but also has facilities to suit the business traveler. The five-story, non smoking inn is minutes from the Gulf Beaches, shopping, arts and culture and some of South Florida's finest dining. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and a morning newspaper. The inn has one small meeting room for business or social functions. There are seven golf courses within a short drive. Area attractions include Busch Gardens in Tampa, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Salvador Dali Museum.

Most visitors to this Fairfield Inn say they enjoyed their stay so much they plan to return again, and again. Families found the property ideal with plenty to keep them busy here and lots of things to see within an easy drive. The staff was applauded for doing a great job. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clearwater Bayside Accommodations

All the guestrooms, and 18 suites, have a work area with high-speed Internet access, IDD telephone with voicemail and data port, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. The bathrooms have a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets.

The inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and exercise room. The complimentary buffet breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several places to eat nearby including Bennigan’s, Joe’s Crab Shack, Ruby Tuesday’s and Tias Tex-Mex. The inn has a full-service business center, coin-operated laundry, video games and vending machines. The 24-hour front desk has a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property, safety deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions.

From Tampa International Airport (TPA) 12 miles: When you exit the airport follow signs to Clearwater, State Road 60 West. Proceed west 10 miles on the causeway. The hotel is located on the right immediately after the overpass. The hotel is located on the corner of Gulf to Bay Blvd. (Hwy 60) and Mcmullen Boothe Road. This is one mile East of US 19.
