Great place to stay when visiting Clearwater. Short ride to Clearwater beach without the high prices of the beach. Awesome pool and hot tub, great breakfast, workout room and business center, the computer came in real handy for my friend needing to print out boarding pass. I live in Ocala and visit this area several times a month would consider this place a place to stay when spending overnights in area. Cookies were terrific also!

Close to Clearwater beach without the high price, great room, food, staff and pool.

The only thing that was not perfect was there was some hair on the bathroom floor. It could have been dry moped, otherwise everything was perfect.

The 109-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Clearwater Bayside caters to families on vacation but also has facilities to suit the business traveler. The five-story, non smoking inn is minutes from the Gulf Beaches, shopping, arts and culture and some of South Florida's finest dining. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and a morning newspaper. The inn has one small meeting room for business or social functions. There are seven golf courses within a short drive. Area attractions include Busch Gardens in Tampa, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Salvador Dali Museum.

All the guestrooms, and 18 suites, have a work area with high-speed Internet access, IDD telephone with voicemail and data port, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Most visitors to this Fairfield Inn say they enjoyed their stay so much they plan to return again, and again. Families found the property ideal with plenty to keep them busy here and lots of things to see within an easy drive. The staff was applauded for doing a great job. Only negative comment from some clients was the fact that they would have liked a bigger swimming pool.
