The 95 all-suites TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clearwater provides economically priced accommodation for both families on vacation and the business traveler. The three-story, pet-friendly hotel is a 20-minute drive from Clearwater Beach and 30 minutes from St. Petersburg Beach. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. For sports fans, the non-smoking hotel is 20 minutes from Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, 20 minutes from the St. Petersburg Times Forum, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning and 10 minutes from Bright House Field, the spring training camp for the Philadelphia Philly’s and home to the Clearwater Threshers. There are three golf courses a short drive from the property.

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Clearwater Accommodations

All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, conventional and microwave oven, dishwasher, stove, toaster and silverware and dishes. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, dual-line telephone with voicemail, cable television with news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous places to eat within a short drive including a Bob Evans, Denny’s, Bahama Breeze and Antonio’s Italian Restaurant. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, vending machines, a business center, valet dry-cleaning and a picnic area with a gas barbecue grill.
