Excellent hotel. Would stay there again. Kids loved the heated pool and we loved the hot tub. Everything was very clean and pleasant and hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful! Great location between Tampa and Clearwater beach.

The 127-room Holiday Inn Express Gateway Area has been renovated and provides quality accommodation at a reasonable price for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a deluxe continental breakfast, passes to a nearby gym, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, a shuttle within a five-mile radius of the property and parking. The property is a short drive from either Tampa or St. Petersburg/Clearwater airports. Area attractions and landmarks include numerous golf courses, the Gulf Coast beaches, Pinellas Expo Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Tropicana Field, the St Pete Forum, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks and the Tampa Bay Downs Horse track

Visitors to Clearwater were very impressed with this Holiday Inn Express. They said the rooms were spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Many thought it the best place to stay in Clearwater and they planned to stay her again and recommend the property to others. There were good reviews about the helpful team of employees and many made good use of the free shuttle operated to nearby businesses, shops and restaurants.
