I definitely love staying at Marriot hotels. The hotel was very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, they include free high speed internet, and the design of the room was soothing.

Excellent stay at a great place with a helpful employees. I had to travel a little to get to the beach, but the place was clean, with a great courtyard and with a swimming pool. I did not mind the travel to the beach. Thanks.

Very nice aesthetics. The smell of the Clean linens on the beds just blew me away. I really enjoyed the comfort of the beds also. Rooms were cleaned in an orderly manner. I would suggest cleaning the carpets in the room as my white socks were very black after walking around the room in the evening. I always make it a point to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff and this is the first time that anyone of them wrote me a little note to say thanks and it was there pleasure. I was very impressed overall with their warm hospitality.

The smell of the clean bedding the minute I walked in!

Problems with the key card. Had to replace twice.

The 128-room Courtyard by Marriott St Petersburg is an historic 1925 hotel located in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg providing quality accommodation well suited to the business traveler. The non-smoking seven-story property was once the Pennsylvania Hotel. All the rooms are new but the original floors and marble in the hotel lobby and breakfast café have been preserved. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is within walking distance of many St. Petersburg's most prominent businesses and government offices. Nearby landmarks and attractions include the Gulf of Mexico beaches, shopping and restaurants at BayWalk, the St. Petersburg Pier, the Florida Aquarium and Busch Gardens.

Those who have stayed here appreciated the nicely furnished rooms and comfortable beds. There were good comments too about the helpful and attentive staff. There were several comments that this hotel was better suited to the business client than those seeking a Florida vacation. Words of warning from former guests: The room service menu is not provided by the hotel but by a neighboring restaurant. When meals arrived, they were not hot.
