The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa on southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast is brimming with activities for the perfect seaside vacation. The 454-room luxury resort is set in 26 lush acres on Estero Bay. It boasts a world-class spa, championship golf course and private beach. You can play tennis, plunge into one of three pools, climb a rock wall or kayak through the mangroves. Throughout the day the resort operates a water taxi service to its private beach on Big Hickory Island. The island is noted for its white soft sand and more than 400 types of sea shells.

Many previous visitors here say they would definitely return for another vacation. The natural surroundings of the resort were a major plus. Those who tired of the beach or pool enjoyed excursions to nearby shopping, the Everglades, casinos and visiting Naples and Fort Meyers. Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Accommodations

All of the guestrooms have a large work table, comfortable armchair and a choice of one king or two double beds. Bathrooms come with a marble vanity and hairdryer. Other amenities include Internet access, 25 inch or larger TV, cable channels and videos on demand, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron and ironing board and in-room safe.

The resort has seven restaurants and bars – ranging from the casual poolside dining at Corkscrew to fine dining at its award-winning Tanglewood restaurant. Live entertainment is available at the Tarpon Bay restaurant which is set out into the water. Camp Coconut offers fun and adventure throughout the day for younger guests. The fitness center at the resort’s Stillwater Spa is open 24-7 and the spa offers a full line of body and beauty treatments. The 18-hole golf course designed by Raymond Floyd operates from November thru April.

From SouthWest Florida International Airport (RSW): Follow Terminal Access Road (East) to the intersection of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway / Treeline Avenue Extension. Turn left onto Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, and follow to Corkscrew Road (approx. 7 miles). At Corkscrew Road, turn right and follow to South Tamiami Trail (US 41) (approx 3-1/2 miles). Turn left onto S. Tamiami Trail and follow for approximately 2 miles to Coconut Road. Turn right at Coconut Road, Hyatt Regency is at the end. From Fort Lauderdale: Follow I-75 North toward Naples for approximately 99 miles, to Exit 116 toward Bonita Springs / Gulf Beaches. Take the CR-865 West ramp toward Bonita Springs / Gulf Beaches and turn left onto Bonita Beach Road SE / CR-865 West. Turn right onto South Tamiami Traill / US-41 North / FL-45 North. Follow South Tamiami Trail northbound for 4-1/2 miles to Coconut Road intersection. At light, turn left onto Coconut Road, and follow to the Hyatt Regency. From Tampa: Follow I-75 South, toward Naples, to Exit 123. Merge onto Corkscrew Road / CR-850 West toward Estero. Follow Corkscrew Road to Tamiami Trail / US-41 South / FL-45 South, and turn left. Stay on Tamiami Trail to Coconut Road, turn right and follow Coconut Road to the hotel. From Orlando: Take I-4 West toward Tampa to Exit 55. Merge onto US-27 South toward Haines City / Cypress Gardens, then turn right onto West Main Street / FL-64. Continue to follow FL-64, then turn left onto US-17 South / Florida Cracker Trail / FL-35 South. Continue to follow US-17 South / FL-35 South to I-75 South. Follow I-75 South, toward Naples, to Exit 123. Merge onto Corkscrew Road / CR-850 West toward Estero. Follow Corkscrew Road to Tamiami Trail / US-41 South / FL-45 South, and turn left. Stay on Tamiami Trail to Coconut Road, turn right and follow Coconut Road to the hotel.
