The 166-room Courtyard by Marriott Aventura Mall is half-a-mile from the beach and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this five-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include downtown Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino. Sunny Isles Beach, Calder Race Track, Dolphins Stadium, tours of the Everglades and shopping at Loehman's Fashion Center and Aventura Mall.

Travelers who stayed at this Courtyard liked the location, close to Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and said the staff was both friendly and efficient. Many enjoyed the courtyard and swimming pool and said there was good shopping and dining opportunities nearby. There were some complaints that it was time for some upgrading of the rooms. All the rooms have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, refrigerator, in-room safe, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, pullout sofa bed, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail. The bathrooms have a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets.

This hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The Courtyard Café is open for breakfast and there is a 24-hour The Market on-site offering a wide range of snacks and beverages. Restaurants nearby include Rosalia’s Italian Restaurant, a PF Chang’s China Bistro, Chili’s, a Cheesecake Factory and the Bourbon Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel.
