The 108-room Comfort Inn Mayport is located in Atlantic Beach close to the US Naval Station Mayport and provides accommodation equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this four-story motel are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and parking. The hotel is close to the Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, a 450-acre facility with hiking and biking trails, fresh water lake, a water park for children and family picnic areas. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Atlantic Ocean beaches, the SunCruz casino cruise ships, the Mayport fishing village, Jacksonville Zoo and tours of the Anheuser Busch Jacksonville brewery.

Sadly this Comfort Inn gets many more negative reviews than good comments. Many were disappointed the location, not close to the beach, and even more were not satisfied with housekeeping. Management can do nothing about the former but it can certainly get working on the latter. The hotel gets its 50-50 rating thanks to the efficient and friendly ladies on the front desk.
