I would recommend staying at the candlewood suites for just about anyone. It is an extended stay hotel so you do not get room service or daily service like other hotels; it worked out great for us.

It was quaint and clean, staff was friendly. Nice atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, well stocked, and had a very comfortable bed. We liked the available free internet access, the TV channel selection, the neighborhood (behind a popular mall, close to I-4), and the amenities, such as a microwave and fridge. The only issue was the front desk is not open 24 hours. We arrived later and we were fortunate that a staff member was still present. We would like to stay there again.

Very clean, more amenities than expected, very quiet.

Great hotel, great location. Close to mall and good restaurants. Great value for the money.

I like that it was clean and updated, and that it had nice amenities as well.

The faucet in the tub was leaking.

The pet-friendly Candlewood Suites Orlando Altamonte Springs is two blocks from the Altamonte Mall and comprises 122 suites equally suited to the upmarket business or leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this three-story hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a guest laundry, in-room tea and coffee and parking. The property located half way between Daytona Beach and Walt Disney World in Orlando. Other area landmarks and attractions include Cranes Roost Park, Alcatel Lucent University Training Center and the Florida Hospital. The hotel is 25 miles from Orlandos Orange County Convention Center and 20 miles from the Universal Studios theme park.

Most guests at this hotel said they had a great time. There was a friendly feel about the property, it sat in a nice wooded area and the accommodation was affordably priced and well maintained. The on-site 24/7 store had lots of prepared meals that you could pop into the suites microwave oven and enjoy while watching a movie from the free DVD library. Many visitors said they would stay at this hotel on future visits to Central Florida and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
