I found the hotel for the most part very nice. I found that the rooms were a bit small and cramped by fitting in a king size bed into the rooms. The location of the TV was not in the best place for the room and it made it difficult to watch TV while in bed. The service was very good and the people at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant.

The people were very friendly and accomodating.

The rooms seemed kind of small for King size beds.

Excellent quality hotel. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hotel with excellent service.

Excellent location for dining and access to major highways and transportation systems.

The 75-room Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington/Brandywine is located in the heart of the Brandywine Valley providing reasonably priced accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The three story, non-smoking hotel is within a short drive of three golf courses and close to Longwood Gardens, the Winterthur Museum, and the Brandywine River Museum. The property has one meeting for social or business functions that can accommodate 45 guests. Tax-free shopping is available less than a mile from the hotel at Concord Mall and the Brandywine Town Center. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7.

This Courtyard has renovated its rooms but it has come too late for some clients who say they are now looking elsewhere for accommodation. The hotel gets a YES rating thanks to its efficient staff, reasonable prices and the fact that the AAA gives it a three-diamond rating. Maybe some of those former clients will return to the Courtyard once they have stayed in competing hotels.
