This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Brandywine Valley attractions.

The location was excellent for my travel plans and activities.

My room seemed a little dark.

Good, not great facility built in the 1960's and upgraded to today's standards. Nice common areas, professional staff, great location in north Wilmington giving reasonable travel distances to good shopping, attractions, and downtown.

Located in Brandywine Valley, Best Western Brandywine Valley Inn serves as an ideal jumping point for vacationing families due its proximity to a variety of amusements, including Longwood Gardens, the Winterthur Estate and Nemours Mansion. Arts buffs should head to the Hagley Museum and the DE Art Museum. If travelling with the family, visit the Brandywine Zoo, and the DE Toy which the kids will love. The AI DuPont Children's Hospital, Agilient Technologies Inc. and DuPont Chemical corporate offices are also close by. You can begin every morning of your stay at this hotel to a delicious start as a complimentary breakfast that features a great selection of morning favorites is served up. The overall appearance of this property is very nice, in both upkeep and presentation. Customer service is one of the highest points of this hotel as the staff is extremely courteous and informative. Accommodations offer plenty of space to move around and offer the same caliber of furnishings as can be found throughout the hotel. However, beds feature uncomfortable bedding. Breakfast is quite limited. Location is convenient near downtown and the interstate. The pool is a comfortably furnished area but some guests have found the water quite cold.
