We are seniors and travel medium distances several times annually. This was one of the best experiences for my wife and me. Everything we needed was provided. Pool, dining, excellent rooms, great bathing room and Ares. It was great. Friendly staff ready if necessary to go the extra mile to assist.

I can say it was one of the best travel experiences we have had in regard to lodging.

I have no negative comments.

The 126-room Courtyard by Marriott Newark University Delaware is a newly opened, state-of-the-art hotel located on the campus of the University of Delaware and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The pet-friendly, four-story, non-smoking property is adjacent to the IACC certified Clayton Hall Conference Center. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Nearby businesses include DuPont, W.L. Gore, Christiana Care Health Systems, Daimler Chrysler, Avon and Astra Zeneca's world headquarters. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 200 guests. Several guests describe this as a perfect Courtyard by Marriott. Everything is well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the employees do a great job to insure every guest has a great stay. The on-site restaurant provides quality food at an affordable price and most visitors say they cannot wait to return to this Courtyard. The prices are competitive with out Newark hotels but those who have stayed at other properties say this hotel beats them all.
