If you need to be close to the airport, or want a some what upscale hotel in the Hartford Springfield area, the Sheraton is a perfect choice. I don't know if it is child friendly, as I was traveling alone. The room was decent size, with a comfortable bed. The room looked clean. Wake up calls were as scheduled. The hotel is adjacent to the departing flights area. Just head to departing flights and you will see it.

Being adjacent to the airport was terrific. Nice seemingly clean room. Comfortable bed.

I needed directions and the woman at the front desk was less than pleased to get them for me, and couldn't just tell me.

The Sheraton Bradley Airport Hotel, located on the airport grounds, is a short drive away from Six Flags England, the Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, Hartford, New England Air Museum, Airways Golf, New England Trolley Museum and Millbrook Public Golf Course. Bradley Teletheater is within easy walking distance. This 100% non-smoking airport property provides everything for comfort and confidence. Most of the visitors were delighted with everything and they would love to stay at the hotel again. They appreciated immaculate food, location, spotless comfy accommodations with sweet comfort beds, free morning newspaper, accommodating and friendly staff, business conveniences and free entrée coupons. However, a few travelers griped about slow service, cold pool, rough linens and cigarette smell in room.
