The 110-room Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the pleasure or business traveler. The nine-story, non-smoking full-service hotel operates a complimentary shuttle to all the nearby businesses and attractions. Other items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger, the Van Gogh Room, can accommodate 40 guests. New York City is a 40-minute train ride away. Closer attractions include the Palace Theater, Stamford Center for the Arts, the Rye Playground amusement park, Stamford Town Center Shopping Mall and the Maritime Museum.
