The Omni Hotel in New Haven, CT is the ideal spot for anyone visiting the area.

This hotel was beautiful and well staffed. We stayed there. Thanksgiving night to break up our traveling. Everything was still functioning, the desk staff and concierge were very friendly and assistive, and the bar had a great bartender who knew his stuff. The linens in the rooms were superb. The bathroom was beautiful and fully stocked with robes. We would stay here any time and recommend it to anyone who needs to be in New Haven.

Fantastic bar and food service hours. Great sheets! Easy location.

Windows don't open - small slits at the bottom tip out, horrible.

Although in an excellent location, this hotel is in need of an update, and should not be listed as a 4 star property. Rooms were small, furniture has seen better days out of date and damaged, and access to parking garage is comical or unacceptable if you are handicap or elderly.

Excellent location convenient to Yale facilities.

Worn around the edges, in need of an update.

The Omni New Haven Hotel is a beautiful hotel located off the Yale University stretch. I was in New Haven for a conference with a large group of 15 or so, and I found the Omni Hotel to be a true hospitality gem. Everything from airport pick-up to check-in/check-out procedures was done very professionally and in the fastest manner possible. Upon arrival, we were given complimentary coupons for wine and cheese in our room. And the rooms were very cozy and comfortable, beaming with lavish decor and a homey aura. The Omni Hotels pride themselves on high-quality service, excellent rooms, and plentiful amenities and this hotel was no different. It's in close proximity to everything in the town--Yale University (literally, a 5 minute walk), train station (about 10 minutes), and a slew of boutiques and restaurants.
