Full kitchen was very useful and homey; we loved the spacious room for the value. Breakfast was OK, not great - and quantity was not enough for service at times. Staff is unfortunately lacking in good manners and basic knowledge; had it not been for them, we would have really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were large and very clean. The location was near a highway but the rooms were not noisy. There was a shortage of parking near the room but it was free. Restaurant - free breakfast - was adequate at best. Overall, the cleanliness and size of room make the experience enjoyable.

With a warm, helpful staff available twenty-four hours a day and comfortable, non-smoking rooms, business and leisure guests alike are sure to find a second home at the Residence Inn by Marriott New Haven. The spacious, fully appointed rooms are large enough to make even the longest stay comfortable with fully appointed kitchens and weekly maid service. When guests are not exploring the attractions of the area, including Yale University, they can enjoy the hotel's variety of business services, which are guaranteed to please the most discriminating traveler. A short car trip places guests in the heart of town, surrounded by a variety of businesses, shopping, dining, and other activities. Although it is close to the area's major attractions, the Residence Inn by Marriott New Haven is in a quiet, established area. If you are planning a vacation or business trip to the area, this is one hotel to check out.
