We are told this hotel is only four months old. The staff could not have been nicer, the services were endless, the decor beautiful, and we will definitely stay there again.

Although geared toward long-term business travelers, this hotel worked perfectly for us on a leisure weekend. We would gladly stay again and recommend to others.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Milford comprises 74 studios and one and two-bedroom suites designed for the longer-stay business or leisure traveler. Each suite has a separate sleeping, living and dining area. The three-story, non-smoking property is a 15-minute drive from Yale University and New Haven. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a breakfast buffet, local telephone calls, a managers reception on weeknights, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The inn has two small meeting rooms available for business and social functions. The larger, the boardroom, can accommodate 15 guests. There are eight golf course within 20 miles of the property. Area attractions and landmarks include downtown Milford, Silver Sands State Park, Beardsley Zoo, the Schubert Theater and the Peabody Musuem.

Couples said it was an ideal place for a weekend getaway and business customers said the staff was very helpful dealing with fax and mail services.
