This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers with children or business travelers. The price is right, it's clean and fairly nice, and the beds are very comfortable.

The Hampton Inn in Milford, Connecticut is located in a quaint seaside village where you'll find many things to do. Milford was founded in 1639 and is the second-longest town green in New England and is home to 17 miles of coastline. There's two public boat launches so it's easy to get out on Long Island Sound and the Housatonic River. If you don't have a boat you can take the Sea Mist for a 45-minute cruise around 25 islands. Another place to visit is the Duck Pond which is a popular pond and waterfall. Only seven miles from this hotel is the P. T. Barnum Museum in Bridgeport where you can see Baby Bridgeport, a 700-pound mounted elephant, a 4,000-year-old Egyptian mummy, and a piece of cake from Tom Thumb's wedding. Some restaurants in the area include Armellino's Fine Italian, County Buffet and Stonebridge Restaurant. Ask the friendly staff if you have any questions or need directions to more attractions.
