Centrally located in downtown Hartford convenient to civic center, plays, and museum and night life. Comfortable, classy hotel.
The beds are extremely comfortable.
Breakfast room service was expensive- bagel, job coffee was $18.

I actually stayed at this hotel and the last time it was an unacceptable experience due to sewer smell and water spilling over the bathrooms floors that the executive assistant at Hartford Hilton wrote back to me a stay free, but then the new executive assistant says the old executive assist. No longer work there and can't honor my stay. I did not want to call service, but the bath towels smelled perfume. It was used. Also, when I plug the iron to the GFI outlet, the fuse blew; coffee was not done and then, I did not iron my pants. I did not want to complain to the Hilton, until I left and ended up not ironing my clothes or drinking coffee. Then, when we went for breakfast, the coffee downstairs M&M was so strong that I experience a rush in caffeine to the brain. I wished I had better experience, but this is the 2nd time that I experience such unusual experience.

Nicely appointed hotel; food in the cafe was good, waitress was responsive to our needs, hotel staff was courteous and friendly. Overall good experience, I would recommend this hotel & this service.

The upscale Hilton offers an assortment of amenities for convenience, comfort and confidence. Most of the guests were pleased with clean modern comfortable rooms, food, free parking and internet, polite staff and location. However, some guests felt that it was not up to snuff. They complained about foul smell in the rooms, noise, unpleasant walk from the parking to the hotel, parking fee and dated property.
